Our Story

Over 200 years ago, a group of tea farmers and tea masters from Anzi, Fujian, China, arrived in the Wenshen area and settled in Pinglin (locally known as Pingna in Taiwanese Hokkien).Inheriting their ancestors tea-making techniques and benefiting from Pinglin's unique climate and geographical conditions, they cultivated exceptional tea that became renowned worldwide. Among these, Wenshen Paochong Tea, known for its exquisite aroma, stands out. Tea farmers in the area have adopted sustainable farming practices, allowing the industry to thrive while minimizing its environmental impact and preserving water resources. Through these sustainable and regulation-compliant farming methods, the tea industry and the environment can develop in harmony. Today, as a key transit point between Taipei and Yilan, Pinglin remains the last tea-producing region in the Wenshen area, preserving its centuries-old tea craftsmanship.
